$4.2 Million NIH Grant Award in 2004
MedQuest's HeartQuest VAD technology is an integral part of a multi-organizational project that received a 5-year $4.2 million contract from the National Institutes of Health. The overall goal for this application is to develop a safe, reliable and biocompatible VAD ranging from newborns to 2 year old infants.
Finalist, UTAH Innovations Awards 2003 and 2004
HeartQuest VAD was selected as one of the top three medical device innovations of 2003 and 2004.

MedQuest was selected as Utah's fastest growing medical device company for the third consecutive year.

MedQuest was again selected as Utah's fastest growing medical device company in 2001.

MedQuest was selected as Utah's fastest growing medical device company in 2000.
ISO 9001 Certification
MedQuest received certification in 2000 that approves its quality assurance systems for the design and development of medical devices to meet international standards established by the International Organization for Standardization.
$4.2 Million NIH Grant Award in 1999
MedQuest was a key member of a consortium that received a $4.2 million grant from the National Institutes of Health. This grant was the first award given to artificial heart researchers under the NIHs new Bioengineering Research Partnership program.
Sezai Innovation Award in 1995 and 1999
MedQuest's HeartQuest VAD was twice recognized as the most innovative blood pump and received the Sezai Innovation Award at congresses of the International Society of Rotary Blood Pumps held in Tokyo, 1999 and in Houston, 1995.
Blue Chip Enterprise Initiative Award 1999
MedQuest was selected as a State Honoree for the Blue Chip Enterprise Initiative 1999 National Competition awarded by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Nation's Business Magazine, and Mass Mutual. The award recognizes small businesses that have effectively utilized resources to overcome challenges or create opportunities, while emerging stronger.
